Once you have assets imported into your KnowledgeTree Manager account you can publish them to Salesforce.  An asset published to Salesforce becomes available for use by Sales Reps within their sales process. Conversely, when you unpublish an asset it is no longer available to Sales Reps within Salesforce.  When you add assets, they are automatically published.

Publishing Assets from the Asset List

  1. Select the assets you would like to publish by clicking the checkboxes next to each asset.  If you want to select all assets use the Select All checkbox or the keyboard shortcut (⌘ + A, CTRL + A)



  2. Click the "Publish" button or use the keyboard shortcut "p".



  3. To confirm that you want to publish the selected assets, click "Publish" in the confirmation message.



  4. Assets that are published for use in Salesforce will have a green icon next to them in the asset list.



  5. You can also publish an individual asset from the Asset Details Page.  Fist click on the individual asset you would like to publish.



  6. Click the "Publish" button



  7. When the confirmation message comes up click the "Publish" button to successfully publish the asset.



Unpublishing Assets from the Asset List

  1. Select the assets you would like to unpublish



  2. Click the "Unpublish" button



  3. To confirm that you want to unpublish the selected assets, click "Unpublish" in the confirmation message.



  4. Assets that are not published for use in Salesforce will have a red icon next to them in the asset list.



  5. You can also unpublish an individual asset from the Asset Details Page.  Fist click on the individual asset you would like to unpublish.



  6. Click the "Unpublish" button



  7. When the confirmation message comes up click the "Unpublish" button to successfully unpublish the asset.
